Brandon, originally from Philadelphia, is a fisherman who works at the Los Sueños marina. He came to Costa Rica because of sportfishing and met Rita. In 2016, he decided to make this his home with her.

Concepcion H. was born in Nicaragua but moved to Costa Rica in 2006. She lives in Herradura where she cleans houses and is surrounded by family, including her seven grandchildren.

Jefferson is Columbian by birth but moved to Costa Rica with his mother in 2003. He is an avid surfer and crafts his own surfboards in Herradura.
